Frequently asked questions (FAQs):

1. Who determines the ticket prices?
BoxOffice ME is an authorized Ticket agent and sells Tickets on behalf of the promoter or producer that produces the event for which you buy a Ticket. We refer to the promoter or producer from whom we obtain Tickets to sell to you. The promoter sets the ticket prices. BoxOffice ME is not responsible for determining these prices.


2. How can I buy a ticket and make a payment through BoxOffice ME?
You may buy your ticket from www.boxofficeme.com and the BoxOffice ME Call Center +971 4 367 6520 (between 9am to 6pm – Sunday to Thursday) with your credit card. BoxOffice ME accepts Visa and Master credit cards. BoxOffice ME may also sell tickets at some select outlets or at the venue on the day of the event for some events. We recommend that you buy tickets online in advance to avoid any disappointment in case of a sold out event.


3. How safe is it to make a payment online with my credit card?
BoxOffice ME uses a very secure payment gateway and does not save or have access to the credit card information shared by you. The details provided by you are encrypted using SSL. SSL encryption prevents third parties from having access to your personal and financial information. Your encrypted details are submitted directly to the Payment gateway and BoxOffice ME only receives the message for the approval / disapproval of the transaction.


4. My credit card is not approved. Why?
Your credit card may not be approved due to insufficient funds; your credit card number may be incorrect; or your card may be blocked to making Internet transactions. Some international credit cards do not work for Internet transactions in UAE based on rules imposed by various banks. To protect your security and privacy, your bank does not provide us with information about why your payment was declined. Because of this, you need to contact your bank directly to solve payment issues.


5. Can I make a reservation?
No. You cannot make a reservation through BoxOffice ME. Once you click “purchase” after you have completed your credit card information you immediately purchase your ticket. All sales are final.


6. Can I enter the venue using the electronic confirmation of the tickets bought online?
No. You need to exchange the electronic confirmation of the tickets bought online with a physical ticket as per the rules set by the Event Organizer and in accordance with the local Regulation.


7. How do I get the physical ticket in exchange for the electronic confirmation of the tickets bought online?
You may visit our offices from Sunday to Thursday (between 9am to 6pm). Please bring the printout of the electronic confirmation and your id to facilitate the verification.


8. Can I send someone else to collect the physical ticket in exchange for the electronic confirmation of the tickets that I have bought online?
Yes. You need to send the printout of the electronic confirmation along with an authorization letter and a copy of your id and copy of id of the person authorized to collect the ticket on your behalf to facilitate the verification.


9. Can BoxOffice ME deliver the physical tickets to me?
BoxOffice ME may offer this service for some categories of tickets for certain events for a separate charge.


10. Are there any differences in buying tickets from different BoxOffice ME sales channels?
All of the sales channels including www.boxofficeme.com use the same ticketing system. When an event is opened for sale the seats are not reserved for one specific channel. Accordingly, there is no difference in getting your ticket through www.boxofficeme.com or through any other channel (such as Call Center, Venue sales or Box Office ME Outlets).


11. Can I buy tickets online without using my credit card?
No. You may make a purchase only with a credit card. BoxOffice ME accepts Visa and Master credit cards.


12. My tickets are lost/stolen, what should I do?
Based on the rules and regulations determined the Promoter, lost or stolen tickets cannot be re-printed, changed or refunded.


13. I lost my ticket, but I know my seat number. Can I enter without my ticket?
Ticket check is conducted by the Event Organizer at the venue. Those without a ticket are not allowed into the event venue.


14. I realized I cannot attend the event I already purchased tickets for. What can I do?
As BoxOffice ME, we organize ticket sales for contracted Event Organizer. We do not accept ticket return, cancellation or change unless the event is cancelled or postponed by the Event Organizer.


15. The event I bought tickets for is cancelled. How will my ticket be refunded?
Performances may be cancelled by the Event Organizer due to various reasons. The procedure to be followed is announced by the Event Organizer in case a performance is cancelled. You may use the www.boxofficeme.com website or the Call Center (+971 4 367 6520) in order to get information when a performance is cancelled.


16. The event I bought tickets for is postponed. What can I do?
Performances may be postponed by the Event Organizer due to various reasons. The procedure to be followed is announced by the Event Organizer in case a performance is postponed. You may use the www.boxofficeme.com website or the Call Center (+971 4 367 6520) in order to get information when a performance is postponed.


17. Event specific questions:
• What is the minimum age for attending the Event?
• What is the minimum age under which Kids can enter free?
• Is still or video photography permitted for the Event?
• Are cameras allowed?
• Does the venue have enough Parking?
• Is there a pickup point from the Parking lot to the venue?
• Is valet parking available for a select category of tickets?
• Are there arrangements for Food & Beverage at the venue?
• Will alcohol be served at the venue?
• What time does the gate open?
• What time does the event starts?
• What is the dress code?
• Are the seats allocated or it is a free seating event?
